Akira Global Inc. is a U.S.-based niche electronic component broker that locates and distributes hard-to-find, obsolete, and discontinued components to manufacturers, OEMs, contract manufacturers, and government agencies worldwide. With a global inventory network and a three-layered counterfeit avoidance process, they serve industries including military, automotive, and aerospace. They needed a professional e-commerce platform that matched the credibility of their business and made it easy for clients to browse, search, and request quotes for components.
The client needed a comprehensive shopping platform with user-friendly design, secure payment integration, and inventory management features. The site had to present a large and varied product catalogue clearly, support seamless browsing across devices, and meet the standards expected by enterprise clients in regulated industries. It also needed to communicate the company’s trust factors, quality process, and global reach effectively alongside the e-commerce functionality.
We started with a full custom Figma design for Akira Global, building a clean, professional layout suited to a B2B audience. Once approved, we developed the full site using WordPress and WooCommerce, with the shop structured to support multiple component categories and RFQ-based product enquiries. Key sections were built for services, industries served, the quality assurance process, an about section, and a manufacturers page. The shop was set up with inventory management, and the site was made fully responsive and optimised across browsers and devices.
